Why we started

Every month, there’s that moment. You check your balance. You stare at it. You check it again. There’s no way I spent that much.

Unfortunately, there is a way. And it was probably you. The subscriptions you forgot about and the “it’s only $12” purchases that somehow formed a small army.

We don’t think the answer is to stop spending, track every cent, or become the kind of person with a seven-tab spreadsheet.

Friends spending time together

Sometimes, you just need to see where your money actually went. That’s SSPEN.

No guilt trips. No perfect-budget fantasy. No telling you what you should be doing with your money. Just a clearer picture of how you spend, what you do next is YOUR CALL.

Our story

We’ve always loved travelling, and being students with student budgets wasn’t going to stop us. If there was a trip we wanted to take, we found a way. Cheap flights, questionable departure times, saving here so we could spend there.Somehow, it worked.

What didn’t always work was keeping track of it all. Somewhere between planning the next trip and wondering where the money from the last one went, we started thinking: " This should be easier."

A few conversations turned into Notes app lists. Those turned into sketches, late-night texts, and a lot of “wait, what if it did this?”

Dinner at ours

We believe money is meant to be used for what you need and to create the life you want. A budget shouldn’t judge your spending. It should help you understand it and make your own choices.Keep the fun. Lose the confusion.

Built To Evolve

We’re still building SSPEN, and we want it to keep growing with the people who use it. We’re always testing, tweaking, and finding ways to make it better. Got an idea, suggestion, or tiny annoyance? Tell us.Drop the feature request.
